Advisory Board Member

Himmet Karadağ, born in 1974 in Denizli, graduated from Antalya High School in 1991. In the same year, he entered Gazi University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration and graduated in 1995. He completed his master’s degree in Business Administration at Exeter University in 2010.

Himmet Karadağ started his professional career in 1998 at the Ministry of Finance, where he worked as Account Expert, Chief Account Expert, Deputy Group Head, Head of Department, Advisor to the Revenue Administration President and Advisor to the Minister of Finance between 1999 and 2012.

Since 2012, he has served as a Board Member at the Capital Markets Board and on 01.04.2016, he assumed the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board. In 2016 and 2018, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Borsa Istanbul and Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu.

On 19.01.2017, he was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Turkey Wealth Fund, where he served as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors between 07.09.2017 – 12.09.2018.
Himmet Karadağ served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türkiye Halk Bankası AŞ from 13.08.2018 until April 2022. Since this date, he has been contributing to our company as a member of the Advisory Board. He also teaches Development and Investment Banking at Istanbul Commerce University.

Nihat Yavuz

Deputy General Manager of Health and Life

Nihat Yavuz graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University. He started his professional career in 1999 as an assistant specialist at Anadolu Sigorta. That same year, he started working as a specialist at Demir Hayat. From 2005 to 2007, he served as a team leader at Güneş Sigorta, and between 2007 and 2013, he held the position of Assistant Manager. He then served as the Corporate Marketing Sales Manager from 2013 to 2018 and as the Corporate and Individual Sales and Technical Manager from 2018 to 2020, while also managing the Health Department as the Bank Reinsurance Manager. From 2020 to 2023, Nihat Yavuz worked as the Corporate and Individual Sales Manager at Türkiye Sigorta. In April 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Health and Life Insurance at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.

Yusuf SATOĞLU
Board Member and General Manager of Gama Broker
Born in Kayseri in 1968, Yusuf Satoğlu completed his primary, secondary, and high school education at TED Kayseri College. He graduated from the Department of Public Administration at the Middle East Technical University (METU) Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He pursued a master's degree in "International Banking" at the Banking and Insurance Institute of Marmara University. He began his professional career in 1993 as a Management Trainee at Aksigorta, part of Sabancı Holding. He continued to work in various managerial positions until 2003. In 2003, he was appointed as the General Manager of Ankara Sigorta after it was acquired by the Police Maintenance and Assistance Fund. He left this position in 2008. In the same year, he became the General Manager of Türk Nippon Sigorta. In 2014, he was appointed as the General Manager of TARSİM. In 2020, he was appointed as the General Manager of Alfemo AŞ, which operates under the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF). After leaving this role in 2023, Satoğlu was appointed as a Board Member of Gama Insurance ve Reinsurance Brokerage in January 2024. In addition to this position, he has also taken on further responsibilities as General Manager since April 2024.

Özge Duygulu

Deputy General Manager of Reinsurance
Özge Duygulu graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Economics in 1995 and started her career in Milli Re's TAS Marine department. In 1997, she joined Demir Insurance and Mapfre Insurance in 2003, where she worked as a manager in the field of Reinsurance & Special Risks for a total of 14 years. As of 2013, Duygulu continued his experience and knowledge as a broker and worked as Vice President at IBS Sigorta (UIB Turkey) for 6 years and as Executive Director at Howden Turkey for 3 years. In her broker career, she worked as a client/portfolio manager together with reinsurance placement management processes for Complex and Special Risks. As of March 2024, Özge Duygulu was appointed as Assistant General Manager of Reinsurance at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
Aslı Er
Deputy General Manager of Technical, Operations and Placement
Aslı Er graduated from Muğla University Tourism and Hotel Management in 1999 and Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration in 2023. She started her career in 2000 as a Technical Operation Staff at Başak Insurance Izmir Regional Directorate. In 2003, she moved to Istanbul and continued her career as a specialist in Corporate Sales teams at Ticaret Sigorta, Ray Sigorta, Fiba Sigorta, Güneş Sigorta and Aviva Sigorta. In 2014, he started to work as a Placement Manager at Marsh Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği and remained in this position for 8 years before resigning as Group Manager in June 2022. In 2022, Aslı Er was appointed as the Director of Technical, Operations, and Placement at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş., and as of 2025, she continues her role as the Deputy General Manager of Auto and Non-Auto Technical, Operations, and Placement.
Burcu Ulaş Tulan
Auto Claims Director
Burcu Ulaş Tulan graduated from Marmara University Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Sales Management and Marketing in 2001. Burcu Ulaş Tulan started her career in the insurance sector as a Claims Officer at Başak Insurance in 2001 and worked as a Claims Specialist at Ray Insurance between 2002 and 2008. In 2008, she joined HDİ Sigorta as Assistant Claims Manager and served as Claims Manager until 2022. Burcu Ulaş Tulan was appointed as Auto Claims Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in 2023.
Eylem Çöpür
Health Sales and Placement Director
After graduating from Istanbul University, Chemical Engineering Department in 1999, Eylem Çöpür started her career at Başak Hayat ve Emeklilik Health Compensation Department in 2000. In 2003, she joined the Corporate Health Sales department of the same company and decided to specialise in sales. In 2006, she started working as a corporate health specialist at Aksigorta Corporate Regional Directorate and continued her career as an assistant manager in the same company. In 2016, she started to work as Health and Life Department Manager at Yakut Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği to add broker experience to her insurance company experience. Eylem Çöpür was appointed as Health Sales and Placement Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in 2024.
İpek Uluay
Corporate Sales Director
İpek Uluay graduated from Sakarya University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1998. She started her professional career with Esbank in 1999 and then turned her career direction to the insurance sector. Between 2003 and 2023, she worked at leading local and international brokerage houses in Turkey in the positions of Manager and Director in the management of portfolios consisting entirely of corporate insureds. İpek Uluay was appointed as Corporate Sales Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in May 2024.
Melek Yılmaz Kaya
Non-Auto Claims Director
Melek Yılmaz Kaya graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 1989 and after working as a lawyer for about 2 years, she switched to the insurance sector. In 1991, she started her insurance career at Oyak Sigorta A.Ş. Although her name changed due to company mergers, she retired from the same roof AXA Insurance as Non-Auto Damage Manager in 2016. After his retirement, he worked as a claims consultant and claims trainer at AXA Sigorta A.Ş. for 2 years. Melek Yılmaz Kaya, who worked as a lawyer, insurance technical consultant and liability insurance trainer after her transition to self-employment, was appointed as Non-Auto Claims Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in May 2023.
Nurtekin Güler
Collections Director
Nurtekin Güler graduated from Atatürk University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics in 1991 and started his professional career as an officer at the General Directorate of Başak Sigorta on March 30, 1995. After the sale of Başak Sigorta to the French company Groupama, he continued working at Groupama, where he has served as the Collections Manager for approximately 12 years. During this time, he participated in various projects, including the merger resulting from Groupama's acquisition of Güven Sigorta, the overhaul of the system infrastructure, and the centralization of the collections department within the headquarters. After Groupama decided to exit Turkey, Güler worked at Axa Sigorta from April 2023 to April 30, 2024. As of May 2024, he was appointed as the Collections Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
Neslihan Koyuncu
Financial Affairs Director
Neslihan Koyuncu worked at Alkosan Sigorta Ara. Hiz. Ltd. Şti. in the Collection and Finance department. Between 2011 and 2014, she worked as a Collection Specialist in the Collection - Legal department at Türk Telekom Ümraniye Regional Directorate. Since 2014, she has been working at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. as Financial Affairs Director in the field of financial management, budgeting, reporting, improving financial operations and increasing profitability, accounting.
Serhat Onan
Corporate Sales Director

Serhat Onan graduated from Istanbul University's Forest Engineering and gained experience in various positions in the insurance sector. He started his career in 2011 as an Agent Representative at Ergo Sigorta A.Ş. Istanbul European Regional Directorate, later advancing to the role of Sales Manager, where he managed sales teams and achieved profitability growth at the regional level. In 2014, he served as the Automotive Dealer Channel Sales Manager at Ergo Sigorta A.Ş., where he developed relationships with car dealerships and increased production through sales campaigns.

Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as a Senior Client Manager at IBS Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerage, acquiring new customers in both local and global markets and building sustainable relationships by expanding existing customer portfolios. From 2018 to 2020, he held the position of Corporate Sales, Technical, and Claims Manager at TDB Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerage, managing the renewal processes of existing corporate clients and acquiring new corporate clients.

From 2020 to 2022, Serhat Onan served as the Manager of Brokers and Captive Agents at Unico Sigorta A.Ş., where he focused on increasing premium production and developing sustainable relationships with brokers and captive agents. In 2022, he was appointed Sales Manager at Koluman Sigorta A.Ş., where he continued his efforts in creating the annual sales budget, managing the sales team, and acquiring new products and clients aligned with company targets.

Starting in October 2024 as the Corporate Sales Manager at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği, Serhat Onan was subsequently promoted to Corporate Sales Coordinator and, as of January 2025, continues his role as the Corporate Sales Director. In this new position, he ensures alignment and coordination across all stages of the company's sales processes, directing all sales activities under the supervision of the Board of Directors and contributing to the company's growth.

Hakan Mutlu
Auto Insurance Director
Hakan Mutlu graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Uludağ University in 1993. He began his career during his student years, working at an insurance agency. In 1994, he joined Halk Yaşam Sigorta's Bancassurance Sales Channel at the Head Office as a Customer Representative. After completing his military service, Hakan Mutlu took on various roles in the insurance sector, contributing to the establishment of numerous companies and brokerages. Since 1996, he has held the following positions as Director at Toprak Sigorta’s Istanbul European Regional Sales Office, Manager of Corporate Sales and Marketing at Sigortam.net Brokerage, Group Manager responsible for Fleet Management, Claims, Risk Engineering, and Individual Business at Martin&Martin Brokerage, and Group Manager of Agent Sales and Marketing at S.S. Doğa Sigorta Cooperative. Between 2012 and 2018, he also served as an insurance agent manager at different periods. In 2018, he played a pivotal role in the establishment of Magdeburger Insurance, where he served as Turkey Sales Manager. After five and a half years, he left the company in November 2023 with the title of Turkey Sales and Marketing Director. He continued to provide consultancy services to agents in the sector. Most recently, as of November 2024, Hakan Mutlu has been appointed Director of Auto Insurance Sales, Placement, Technical, and Operations at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
Ece Orcan
Reinsurance Director
Born in 1978 in Kırklareli, Ece Orcan graduated from Yildiz Technical University with a degree in Mathematics Engineering. She then completed her Master’s degree in “Management and Organization” at Marmara University, Institute of Social Sciences faculty. She started her career in 2001 as a Management Trainee at İsviçre Sigorta. Between 2003 and 2007, she worked as a Senior Underwriter in the Industrial Fire Department at Koç Allianz Sigorta. She later held managerial positions in various teams at TEB Sigorta and Yapı Kredi Sigorta. From 2014 onwards, she worked for the Facultative and Corporate Property & Casualty teams at Allianz Sigorta. In 2024, she joined the Technical Underwriting Center team at Allianz Reinsurance SE in Munich as an Underwriting Expert. Leaving this role in 2025, Mrs. Orcan was appointed as the Reinsurance Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.as of February 2025.
Berna Barı
Non-Auto Corporate Sales Director
Berna Barı graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Labour Economics in 1999. She later completed her master's degree in International Management at the Faculty of Business Administration at the same university. She began her professional career in 2000 as a financial advisor at Commercial Union, marking her entry into the insurance sector through the life insurance and private pension branches. Following experiences in various industries, she transitioned into elemental insurance in 2003, joining Eureko Sigorta. During her 20-year tenure at Eureko Sigorta, she held key positions including Insurance Specialist, Sales Manager, and Regional Manager, taking on significant responsibilities in sales, customer relationship management, and regional structuring. As of March 2025, she has been appointed Non-Auto Corporate Sales Director at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
Bülent Keskin
Damage Deputy General Manager
Born in 1968 in Gaziantep, Bülent Keskin graduated from the Faculty of Law at Selçuk University in 1991. After completing his legal internship, he began his professional career in 1992 as a legal counsel at Aktaş Elektrik A.Ş., where he worked for approximately one and a half years. Following the completion of his military service, he joined Oyak Sigorta A.Ş. (now Axa Sigorta A.Ş.) in 1995 as a legal advisor and continued in this role until 2000. Between 2000 and 2002, he served as the Head of Legal and Recourse Departments at Bayındır Sigorta A.Ş. From 2002 to 2012, he held the same position at İsviçre Sigorta A.Ş. (later Ergo Sigorta A.Ş.) and was later promoted to Legal Counsel within the same company. From 2012 to 2021, he continued his career at Güneş Sigorta A.Ş. (now Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş.) as Legal Counsel. With extensive experience in insurance law, Bülent Keskin served two terms as the Chair of the Insurance Law Commission of the Istanbul Bar Association. During his tenure at Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş., he was also an active member of the Legal Commission of the Insurance Association of Türkiye, contributing to various sectoral initiatives. As of March 2025, he has assumed the role of Deputy General Manager of Damage at Gama Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş.
