HADİ SALİHOĞLU

Born on 11 April 1956 in the Sürmene district of Trabzon, Hadi Salihoğlu graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University and completed his legal internship in Istanbul.

Salihoğlu began his career in the Tercan district of Erzincan and went on to hold various posts in Eldivan (Çankırı), Pazarcık (Kahramanmaraş) and the Silivri and Fatih courthouses in Istanbul, as well as at the State Security Court (DGM).

Later in his career he served as Chief Public Prosecutor of Üsküdar and subsequently as Chief Public Prosecutor of Bakırköy, before being appointed Chief Public Prosecutor of Istanbul by a judicial decree of the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK).

Having held senior positions in the Turkish judicial system over a long career in law and the judiciary, Hadi Salihoğlu stands out for the extensive public-service and legal experience he has acquired throughout his professional life.

Hadi Salihoğlu joined the Advisory Board of GAMA Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in 2022 and contributes to the Board’s work with his experience in law and public administration.

Hadi Salihoğlu is married and has three children.
